Hey guys, it’s your good ‘ol pal Gary and I want you to know that I love each and every one of you very much. I was driving home from Flipside tonight and I had the urge to just start praising right when I pulled out onto route 40. I wanted to write down exactly what I remember saying, but I feel like God wanted me to write down something else… What follows is for all of you, and I hope you enjoy it :]

Hey girls, this Friday night, March 21 is Ladies Night! It’ll be 12 hours of pure girlyness that you won’t wanna miss. The all-nighter is at Ms. Christies house and goes from 8pm to 8am Saturday morning. Bring $5, a friend, a pillow, and whatever else you girls like to bring to a slumber party cuz I don’t have a clue, I’ve been a guy all my life and you girls still boggle my mind Here’s directions to the house where it’ll all go down:

I just want to encourage all the youth to start digging into the word and into their relationship with our Father.  I know its not easy and its always a fight to do it but keep pushing.  The more you push the better the relationship will be.  Don’t give up and don’t try to be like someone else.  Stay true to yourself and stay in the path of the righteous.  Just keep going.

it awhile so i’ll write a lil something.  I just tell you teens that you guys are awesome and that you have so much in you.  some of it u dont know about but there is some awesome things that are going to come out of all of you in 2008.  God is gointo really work in you and use you and it will be amazing..and thats because our God is amazing.  make it a great year ladies and gentlemen.  and if you ever need anything just look for me at fs or call or text me if u have my number.

From June 9-13, FlipSide is embarking on an unforgettable journey to Myrtle Beach, SC for 4 days of life-changing memories. Student Life Ministries is hosting “The Way 2008” and we’ll be joining 2000 other teens for a high energy week of getting closer to God and each other. Here’s some info you’ll need to start gearing up for this summer:

WHO? FlipSide, ages 13-18

WHEN? June 9-13

WHERE? Myrtle Beach, SC (HOTEL)

WHY? To get away from it all and get closer to our God

HOW MUCH? $275

REGISTER? A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due on Wednesday, Jan. 30th to hold your spot

Teens, NOW is the time to start mowing some lawns and rocking some babies for extra cash! We’ll be doing some fundraising as well between now and this summer to keep your amazing parents from pulling their hair out. FlipSide & The Ascent are kicking off our first event for 2008!

We’re having Game Night at the Edwards house on January 19th from 6-9pm. All ya gotta bring is yourself, a friend & $3 bucks. Between Rock Star, Guitar Hero, Baggo, Basketball, good food & plenty of good conversation we’re pretty confident you’ll have a blast! So don’t be left out cuz we’ll notice if you’re not there. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Too bad school starts back tomorrow But hey, look on the bright side… SO DOES FLIPSIDE!!

Come on out tomorrow night cause we can’t wait to see your faces. We’re beginning a brand new series for January called “Jesus for Dummies.” Yes you read that right. We’re gonna revisit the basics of God and faith, and what it means to walk it out in real life.

Bring your box of tissues cause we’re also gonna show a video looking back at 2007 in the life of FlipSide! Keep the tears to a minimum men, don’t let the ladies see.

As if it couldn’t get any better, if you’re among the first ten people with your name on the sign in sheet tomorrow night you’ll get a FREE meal pass for the cafe.
